About me

I'm Jerry Livings, a fully qualified counsellor in the UK.

-
As we get older, life can bring many changes: some expected, others surprising.
-
Relationships shift, health can fluctuate, and familiar roles or routines may be replaced with some unfamiliar ones.
-
-
As an older person myself, I understand how those changes can affect confidence, connection and peace of mind.
-
Everyone’s experience of ageing is unique, and sometimes, simply being heard can make the greatest difference.
-
Counselling should be gentle, respectful and genuinely helpful.
-
For many people, having a calm, consistent space to talk can bring comfort, clarity and renewed hope, even when things are really difficult.
-
-
I founded OlderPeople.co.uk to make counselling more accessible, approachable, comfortable and relevant for people in later life.
-
Talking helps — and it’s never too late to begin.
My approach
-
My approach is warm, patient and practical. I listen carefully, help you make sense of your thoughts and feelings, and work with you to find realistic ways forward.
