Refund Policy

Effective date: 31 July 2025

At olderpeople.co.uk, we strive to offer a fair and transparent refund policy. Please read the following carefully before booking a session.

  • Refunds for Cancelled Sessions

    • If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, your payment is non-refundable, as short notice makes it difficult to reallocate the time.​

  • Missed Appointments

    • If you miss your session without notice, it will be treated as a late cancellation and no refund will be issued.​

  • Counsellor Cancellations or Technical Issues

    • If we are unable to deliver your session due to illness, scheduling error, or technical issues on our side, you will be offered the choice of:

      • A full refund, or

      • A rescheduled session at a mutually convenient time.​​
         

  • How to Request a Refund

    • To request a refund, please email using the secure form on the "Get in touch" page.

    • Include your scheduled date and time.

    • We aim to process refunds within 5 business days to the original payment method.
      ​​

  • Your Consumer Rights

    • This policy does not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable UK laws. If you feel your service was not delivered with reasonable care and skill, please contact us.

Important Note

  • ​To access this service, you must be 18 years of age or older and a UK resident.

  • This is not a crisis service.
